ships and yacht can be seen everywhere in volendam the fish and chips are more appealing though, haha    a must-do for tourists i have been to marken: check!   beautiful seaside at marken a good place to stay after retirement   we went to amsterdam, with the though that we can see windmills everywhere. we're disappointed after looking everywhere for windmills. we only saw one. but day trip to volendam and marken was really fun! amsterdam is not my favourite country. food and transport and everything else are super expensive here. accommodation is not as good as expectation. anyhow, we enjoyed the ice-cream, pork ribs, strawberries.. it's all about food! haha.. not to forget, the anne frank museum - my favourite spot in amsterdam!

the castle district is very interesting lots of museums and castles to explore after the visit, i realise living in castle can be quite eerie luckily im not born as a princess, haha karlstejn castle the locals call it the land of fairy tale not as fairy land as the castle district but i love the tranquility there colourful houses at the golden lane too many tourists. love the houses but too crowded to camwhore im duke of praha, hahaha my favourite activity: cosplay + camwhore

vienna is all about music my first orchestra like the ballet performance ps: i was once a ballet dancer, haha new friend met at chinese restaurant a young girl from china who is currently living in vienna she became our tour guide for the next two days paddling at danube river great weather. great company a fun nite at amusement park thanks tour guide for the wonderful two days

nyugati railway station it has a very nice park behind the building the mc cafe next to it is very pretty i dried my umbrella at the beautiful park, very kampung i know szechenyi thermal bath it was raining but we still had lots of fun no lengzai but lots of aunties uncles with big tummies =P get the individual changing cubicle, it's worth the extra pennies hero square one of the tasks in amazing race asia is to memorise the names of the heroes budapest not as friendly as other countries maybe it's because they dont speak english but i love the children's railway yes it is operated by children aged 10-14 my favourite spot in budapest thus far

sagrada familia it's not a building, it's an amazing artwork barcelona = gaudi's town his masterpieces are all over the city you recognise them by the amount of tourists queuing outside paella is compulsory we tried tapa-tapa at marenagnum affordable price with sea view. perfecto! super nice staff from hostel sute he even helped us with laundry gracias, christian!

we got free entry into lourve! thanks to national day =) the metro station near hotel eiffel tower this is the hottest day in paris ps: how i wish i can have more macaroons =)

time to get a job, be it temp or long term dad needs my help to draft a proposal wash all the clothes, bags, shoes and everything in the rucksack maid left, i gotta do this all by myself edit photos, share stories.. we have taken 4000++ photos in one month i need a lot of time to upload, so pls be patient but before ensuring all this to happen, im going to eat+play+shop with sis till she goes back to HK on 20th, haha

stories will come later. still missing europe. still having jet lag. still lazy.

visiting yao in cambridge marked the end of my one month excursion. was a little upset to leave coz i still have a lot to catch up with yao. her housemates are the best hosts ever. it's definitely a wise decision to end my trip there. i felt im home already. thanks for the home-cooked dinner =) and coming back home means i gotta decide what i wanna do next. getting a job. worst thing is maid went back for holidays and refused to come back. we gotta do household chores now. tons and tons of clothes to wash after the trip, imagine that! europe is fun. it's not as summer as everyone warned us. luckily i listened to yao. brought a few sweaters with me. weather was quite cold half of the time. it's not as 'cham' as my hk fren told me. we only had breads (almost every meal) in paris. in fact, we had quite good meals in the rest of the countries. tapas, paella, spare ribs, pork burger... we even had bubble tea, haha! hostels are ok. some are really good. felt dodgy
