attended second monthly meet in 2012 last staurday. had a tiring yet satisfying weekend with raleigh mates. im glad that i participated in this meaningful project.  helping the orang asli kids might sound too ambitious (to some people) but we did completed quite an amount of work. kudos to those who spent a week at the work site. wish i had the time to contribute more. but spending just a day there is good enough. i can feel the sincerity of the couple. and i've learnt to have faith in whatever i am doing. just like the chinese saying: nothing is impossible if you have the heart to work on something. im really happy to see the outcome.  meeting my dear raleigh mates is double happiness!! didnt get to catch up with shu may before she left for aussie. but i had a great great time with dolphin queen and backpack king and the rest of them. felt a bit reluctant to leave early but the trip with kepong gang the next day shouldn't be missed. so i'll be back! 

it's has been a great chilling saturday, i mean it literally, it's chilling! visited chilling waterfall with peiting after 2 years plus. had lots of fun =)  this is my first monthly meet after 8 months? anyway it's great to meet them again. some long lost frens. some new faces. some dinosaurs. some future venturers. the steamboat lunch was a blast. love the chicken soup + mushrooms + vegetables + tofu = yum yum!  reached home at almost 5pm. was so tired. but already planned for another date at 8.30pm. meeting the kepong guys again. had desserts at ben's. so yummy till we dont mind getting fat, haha. another awesome nite spent. oh we celebrated aiai's birthday without her presence. happy birthday! thanks for the yummy dessert, haha! 

thanks guys for your support finally i brought all my 'bestest' guy frens to raleigh hope they enjoy the walk and do not feel cheated by their cutest fren =) how can a sesat girl draw KL map? that is why they changed the map, haha

visiting KL is getting more interesting every time i bring foreign visitors touring the common tourist attractions and some hidden gems that i have found. sis n i brought valeriee to brickfields aka little india. this is the first time i literally walk along the streets, amazed by the pretty ornaments. no doubt the weather is super hot, but i enjoy the stroll. next we went to national museum. this is my first visit after the renovation. the first thing that caught my attention is the history channel billboard about the universe. then i saw snippets of malayan emergency with history logo on the TV. wow! again im so proud to be part of this awesome project. im also amazed by the hi-tech & interactive machines. our museum is not that bad actually =) next destination, lake gardens. as usual i couldnt find my way out. ended up at national mosque. out HK guest is very interested with malay culture and art. so we went in to visit the interior. of coz with the 'harry potter' robe. ...

have been looking forward to attend kelvin's wedding since he announced his very unique marriage proposal, haha. sis came back from HK, landed only after mid night, partially because of his wedding luncheon. we really give face to him lor, since he's such a nice fren =) it's a short and sweet luncheon. 2 tables of raleighians. sure kecoh kau kau. haha. we had fun watching him and his pretty wife yumseng from table to table. until they were quite drunk. we were also busy planning for GQ's wedding throughout the luncheon. we have finalised the theme, the menu, the music, the games and etc for the wedding supper next year. everyone now believes that GQ will get married next year, except carrot. work harder peeps. haha. oh i was late coz i got lost. very long story. i set the wrong destination on google map. so it brought me to a wrong place. stupid me. but im lucky enough that the couple waited for me before they made the grand 'opening' of the wedding luncheon. th...

finally i attended monthly meet. actually i dont quite understand why ppl question me for not going to raleigh activities recently. i think im still quite active, at least i still meet up with raleigh folks almost every week. i only skip feb & march monthly meets and the recent iw. and the upcoming one too. haha. anyway, thanks for the sms from shihchung. i've decided to attend MM. it's a great morning. listening to stories from his 20 months working holiday trip. it's an awesome sharing session, with truly amazing photos. but i dont think i have the courage to backpack in the national parks, deserts, canyon etc unless i have a macho boyfriend with me. haha. so i still prefer NZ =) after lunch, got to know that one of the boys (yes a boy, he's only 19) lives in desa park city. so i offered to send him home. coincidentally, he's going to NZ under working holiday scheme this Aug. and he's a member of couchsurfing too. we had very interesting chat on the way ho...

congratulations to carrot & jia yee! whole day waiting in the studio sounded more acceptable now. at least for me, haha. make great use of the funds. thank you on behalf of the kids. they'll love the books! i must pay tampasak a visit too. i miss the kids. cant remember their names. but im sure spending few days with them is the happiest past time. i miss my kindergarten. i miss paulina n her family. i miss en lugasa's family. i miss the badminton court. i miss the kedai runcit. i miss the coconut tree. i miss the pet monkey. of coz not forgetting the old church hall. the river. the school. when sejuta impian came true, there comes post expedition blue, once again. i wanna get out there, again!

the first raleigh wedding for me: ming kit n mae-xi's. it's a sweet n lovely evening for everyone =) now i understand why raleigh couples are worried about announcing their wedding. coz raleigh folks wont leave until their presence gained full attention. haha!

the primary school gathering last nite was great , although just the four of us, we chatted for hours, haha. love being with the girls. hope we'll be able to organise more sessions like this - good food. nice companion. great chats. just came back from staff training. woke up slightly late, then was a bit lost on the way there, so i was late. luckily there're ppl who came later than me, oops.. attendance was ok. looking at their performance, i guess everyone gained something useful, no? =P im pleased to meet some frens whom i have not seen for quite some time. i enjoyed the 'pork' lunch with them too, but i seriously hate driving to KL. got a not very pleasant sms from lawyer Q last nite when i was having dinner. he told me he wont be able make it for staff training. for the first time i didnt tease him for ffk. i was quite worried instead. hope uncle is recovering by now. god bless him! bro, u must take care!

the results!! first myvi washed by luyi i have not even washed my own myvi =P my first community work in 2011 had a great day with team bravo and some raleigh mates rm755 raised. excluding profit from selling old newspaper it's awesome. very awesome!

still packing for iw. it's predicted to b wet this weekend. so im really worried. digging all over the room to get my jacket n lafuma waterproof. stuffed all the important gears into my 30L dry bag. i hope it wont rain as heavily as the previous weeks. quite excited to meet new batch of anaks. n working with new co-coord. n meeting hk frens. n having fun with the R folks. n going back to the old campsite! it'll b a great weekend! with more insect bites. haha..

woke up at 640am. chin called at 7am. she was lost. haha. managed to meet her at kepong ktm. then we met the Green ppl at gombak. then off we go to kampung cottage. this is the fourth or fifth time i helped out at the mud hut project. it's pretty fun. connect to the nature, as what dino explained. quite true. besides the mosquitoes, everything was great. haha. i love stepping in the mud although it's super tiring. that's my exercise quota for a month =P i can feel the muscle pain right after i stopped stepping. WBC - Water Buffalo Club the team that finished first to complete mud bricks (luyi hates corn) this picture reminds me that there're ppl whom i dont usually talk to actually treat me as their friend. so dont assume. talk to ppl if u want ppl to talk to u. gracias!

10 oct 2010 is a special day. it happens only once in every 100 years. hence i celebrated the special occasion with some super special (aka crazy) ppl! finally, the giraffe slide! i have been wanting to take pic with the slide since last year thanks pipo =) the mid nite surprise + burger + party a very kecoh nite started with nanny GQ bugging kalai studying the map, eating ice cream, gossiping then off to pipo's with burger, guitar n more gossips hahaha! sending off venturers @ LCCT my dear anak from delta, shen n shi han! your cute n nice mama is so so proud of u! @ KLIA jing wen, my anak who MIA after IW gah yau bah!

i almost cry after reading lucy's update about her India expedition. I love her speech a lot. I bet all of us who came back from expedition would feel the same. im glad i have been to expedition. that's one of the wisest choice i have made throughout my life. it has been 2 years now. i still feel very touched whenever i look at the photos, read my journal or merely thinking of it. here's some key points in lucy's speech that reminded me of my 10 weeks in sabah: It has been 10 weeks. How many 10-weeks can we have in our lives? I guess hundreds of it. But how many 10-weeks like this can we have? I can still remember all the conversations in local language I learnt from the guides during trek, but I cannot remember how many times we fell over, got up with the help of teammates and said 'I'm alright'. There were times when we were tired, angry, upset or frustrated but we all came through and we are all here today. I cannot imagine how much I will miss this 10-we...

i love the lanterns brilliant me for bringing the lanterns =) great music which we didn't even need to spend a penny thanks to karlye's well spent rm220. haha we can sleep everywhere. literally i miss waking up in the jungle surrounded by trees. under the blue sky i feel warm =) selamat hari malaysia! terima kasih kawan kawan for the awesome camping trip lets make it our secret camping spot we can go there when somebody is emo, stressed, happy, high, or any welcome / farewell party! ps: i slept for 17 hours after the trip. haha

another fruitful + amazing + crazy weekend spent with the R family. end of 09/10 committee term, also luyi's comm term =) i am glad to have known all of them, the good guys n the bad guys. self developed! thanks to my fellow colleagues. initially planned to make a super touching video for them coz i have not seen them cry. haha. but stupid stuff happened so i cancelled the plan. but, on fri nite when i was preparing my presentation, i changed my mind. i have to b fair to my R family. i cant let them down because of one stupid person. i still love them very much. so i did a simple video. with a lot of photos of our non-work-related-outings. i realised i have been spending a lot of awesome moments with the gals, poh-e, dino, karlye, sulan, christal, woonchin =) thanks gals~ i love u all. a lot a lot! promise u gals, especially for sulan, i will complete the original plan. it's my farewell gift to u! final decision, i am not serving the committee for this coming term. it doesnt me...
