lots of gathering recently, haha. still always meeting the same circle of friends. but i know we'll have second round after the primary school girls' outing.  true enough, the four of us decided to continue with updating our work in progress. very good progress this time. when we finished the stories, it has already past dinner time. for the first time, each of us has something to share. everyone is working on a project. be it successful or not, im proud and happy that we're working on something. at least we try out best. always love hanging out with the girls. we dont meet often, but we sure have lots to share whenever we meet.  hope the next outing wont be too far away from now. and everyone with positive progress to share =) 

went movie with my secondary school mates. shopping, lunch and movie. such an old school outing but that's one of the best this year.  meeting high school friends has always been filled with laughter. full of laughter. love it so much. thanks people for being with me whenever i am weak. cheering for me when i need encouragement. i heart my kepong gang!  ps: i believe the first story in life of Pi is real. i believe it would happen. just like how i believe i can travel with my giraffe Fifi. 

i am missing new zealand so badly, because of the movie.  lake wanaka, lake hawea, mt ruapehu, russell, ashburton, oamaru, cape reinga... and all the nice people there!!!  can i join the adventure to the lonely mountain?   

  received an xmas tree from germany thanks len foong!   first time joining primary school mates gathering got some culture shock some of them have changed (a lot), haha catching up with old friends =)   time of the year! i have more friends, thus more letters to post merry christmas people  had an awesome celebration with 5+3 too am happy that we're all grown up, realizing our dreams  and the world did not end so we'll be able to celebrate christmas next year!

didnt complete 100km. feet too tired to walk. 70km is good enough. if it ain't end of the world tomorrow, i'll walk the 30km next year or some time later, haha.    team mates for the first 50km. the yaps!   enjoying our mc d dinner set after 30km   this is not our official end time just wanna take group pix before shon left the yap sisters

if you see me posting updates by next wed/thurs, fret not, it means i survived the 100km walk. so see ya next week!    and most probably, im going for this again next year! 

  busy unpacking it's a never ending process think i have brought NZ home postcards, gifts, clothes, staff pass, maps, lunch box and even the food bag now i know why my luggage is overweight hahaha

  miss the buildings. the blue skies    and the friends    not forgetting the snow!

  the reason i left NZ before my visa ends family trip @ HK for my sis' convocation some friends are worried that i do not have appropriate clothes for the ceremony no worries, im a shopaholic i actually bought 2 dresses and 1 skirt before i left NZ, haha   and because i missed my own convo (long story) everyone wants me to put on the robe and take photos around HKU =.="   last itinerary of HK trip meeting my dear friends Savio and Samantha and a few other new friends met Savio at the ski field where we're colleagues over the winter met samantha in sabah 3 years ago when we both were travelling alone it's a fun night out, i'll be back soon!  back to KL, gotta accept the fact that 2012 is not end of the world i have a few grand plans in my mind now im looking forward to 2013! yay!

bumped into the korean girl i met on the bus the other day. she told me someone passed away in an accident from skydive wanaka. checked for the news online out of curiosity. and i realised it was Nino, my instructor. OMG! shit happens but why this kinda accident?   im so glad to be alive. im so glad that i have accomplished something i always wanted to do without any injury. im simply glad to be sitting in the cafe typing this post while enjoying the super yummy cheesecake. seriously, you should live your life with no regrets.    RIP Nino thanks for the sweet memories 

it's almost 8 months since i arrived in NZ. ups and downs. south to north. yes or no. lots of decision making. and i learnt to take care of myself, that includes getting accommodation, securing a job, planning daily meals, budgeting my expenses, laundry and grocery shopping etc. that's tough! really tough!    back to south island simply love south island more than north wish i could meet the folks in ashburton  but everyone has moved on with new plans   oamaru is one of my fav towns nice victorian buildings, art galleries, and cute penguins! and the new frens i made here =)   wish i get to explore the world before  im too old or unfit to climb over fences,  walk 6km on icy grounds,  skydive from 15000ft i'll be back, new zealand!

  the flying & jumping companions   feels excited. not very nervous though   feels so great i did the freefall position. i smiled. i posed for the camera all without fail! yay!    it's great to be up in the sky if it's less expensive, i'll go for a second jump, haha my mum will be mad though   i'll do it again.  guess it feels so great because i have worked very hard for this from vineyard to packhouse to ski field from south island to north island and back to south island 8 months of hard work and i realized one of my childhood dreams =)

went to port chalmers to stay away from the crowd in dunedin. and i have to refrain myself from shopping, haha. it's a beautiful little town, just like what lonely planet describes: just a short drive away from dunedin, but a totally different world.    a huge anchor on top of the hill    view from the look out definitely worth the climb all the roads are very steep =.="   another giant anchor at the end of boiler point love this track it's next to the container terminal  feels like im in a tvb polive drama scene hahaha    the historic building add extra charm to the town  a very nice day trip  bought 2 apples from new world before i head back to dunedin seriously cant stop myself from shopping =P

weather during the day was pretty bad. rainy and windy. didnt do much in the city. walked around, snapped some pics then did some grocery shopping and went back to hostel to fully utilize the free internet. haha.    decided to go for a stroll after dinner. dunedin is defintely prettier at night. 

  went riding one last time before i leave the mountain.  it's an awesome day. thanks everyone for helping me with the t-bar!     back to wellington. was here 4 months back.  time flies. im back again. back to the south   queenstown! such a lovely place.  pretty lake and mountains but it has the worst i-site in NZ    day trip to arrowtown such a hot day. summer is here!  i got sunburn after the trip   milford sound would be better without the rain and strong wind spectacular view. just like watching national geographic would definitely do milford track one fine day!    and now in invercargill. a boring city according to a lot of people i have spent 4 days here. crappy weather.  rain + hail + sun + wind all in one day going to dunedin in 3 hours time! 

回到雪山工作感觉很多东西都变了。相熟的朋友各自离开了，有的回国了，有的签证到期了就到别的地方寻找下一份工作。来了一些新朋友但总觉得以前的亚洲帮比较亲切。 经理先生本来告诉我春天的工时会多一些，可是老天真的很爱作弄他。回来后，天气一直很不好。每个星期都有一两天关山。没工作的日子很苦恼，因为我的钱快用光了（不要算自己带来防身的钱啦）。所以在逼不得已的情况下，我唯有去找经理投诉。投诉果然有效！这星期终于有多一点工时了。他还答应我最后一个星期会安排多一点时间给我上班。 我滑雪的技术也就一般般。一星期有一两天练习我就满意了。现在真的需要存点钱去南岛继续流浪。不然只够钱飞去香港，不够我待两个星期吖！由于朋友的计划有点赶，所以下南岛又是我一个人流浪啦。很期待！ 感谢香港仔留给我的食物。香港人果然是有钱人。他买了一堆调味料却完全没开过。因为这些酱料，我现在的烹饪技术大有进步。每道料理都超好吃的，哈哈！   来了雪山那么久，终于做了个小雪人   自己一人流浪了般的北岛，自拍技术进步神速 我和景点都入镜了   快回家了，越来越想家 在香港见到家人时应该会抱在一起痛哭一顿吧

hamilton was the last stop of my two weeks plus holiday. i actually enjoyed shopping at super huge shopping mall in hamilton. spent hours there but i controlled myself well enough not to buy unnecessary stuff, anyway still bought something la, haha.  a bit tired of being alone. so im going back to the mountain. back to the san ka la kampung with a lot of snow and friends. i miss them, loads! miss the random dinner chats with eileen, her david and savio. miss the gossip session with neighbours. miss taking staff bus up n down mountain for the spectacular view. oh i miss whakapapa and the people! so yea im going back! 

  a skill i developed recently i can now 自拍 with me and the attraction  useful skill for solo traveler, haha so i wont drop my camera into the river again   from the top of whangarei falls i have no idea why i walked all the way up i can actually drive there (to save petrol, maybe)   a relaxing afternoon in town basin thought it'll be a happening hang out spot but there's nobody around, as usual everywhere i go, there's no one. is it my prob?    big omaha the prime minister has a villa here, according to yi fan and yan qi   from auckland sky tower perfect weather, weather turns bad on the next few days. sigh   thames. it's a pretty dead town to me.  i site was closed on saturday! not until i discover the historic buildings  and pak n save!
