  i miss ashburton because i miss them have been looking at the love notes they gave me almost every night before i sleep  will i see them again?  if i am going to visit all of them, i'll need to take next year off and start my journey from singapore to taiwan to Uk to france to germany then all the way to south america, haha 法国佬 – 去Talley’s 工作的司机。No worries 和 Up to you 是他的口头禅。一餐可以吃8粒鸡蛋，超夸张的。热情友善的好人一个。很爱找人聊天，所以几乎全工厂和Holiday Park 的人都认识。一开始和他沟通不良，觉得他很奇怪，但相处久后觉得他人好好又不计较。可是有时很情绪化，令人摸不着他心情为何转变得那么快。 司机哥哥 – 英国人。通常周末载我们去图书馆上网和去超级市场进货。他的笑声超好认，很像圣诞老公公。起初觉得他是成熟男人的代表，不像其他人那么没计划，因为他28岁了。相处久后，发现他蛮爱扮可爱。常说自己很倒霉，虽然他的经历是蛮倒霉的，但我相信有一天他可以顺利朝着自己的梦想迈进。 稻米 – 爱尔兰人。由于我误会他曾经偷拿我的鸡腿，所以每次他对我笑，我都觉得他笑容邪恶。直到他走的前两天，误会才解开。他并没有偷我的鸡腿。打呼声很大。个子很高，天气冷时换了件帅气外套，球衣外套就很少出现了。也是周末出城的团员。 肉食男 – 餐餐吃很多肉。Jen说他笑容灿烂。他不过才20岁，难怪那么活泼有阳光。也许一起出城所以混熟了。老爱讲冷笑话。喜欢和他聊天，总有出其不意的爆笑场面。 小鬼 – 肉食男的朋友。和肉食男一起简直是对孖宝，总爱取笑我。和他一起去Christchurch 和看日落后开始熟了。他的酒窝竟然深过我的！ 法国型女 – 看不出她31岁了。短头发，衣着打扮和一般女生很不一样。喜欢heav...

  working in a cafe on a snow capped volcano is cool you get to see super duper awesome scenery everyday first day was a good challenge for me  glad the staff and customers are very kind people   taking chair lifts to work is another plus point of the job  it's freezing cold but it's amazingly fun!   knoll ridge cafe, on top of the mountain  very pretty view up there  but i dont work here. and im glad coz it's closed most of the time depending on weather i still need more working hours to subsidize my travels so im happy to be in happy valley cafe =)

  this is the volcano i'll be working at till end of winter (hopefully) it's very cold up there. but i'll get used to the weather soon shall take more pictures up the mountain when the weather is clear weather has been crappy for the last 2 days  i'll be working at happy valley cafe hope the new work place brings me tonnes of happiness,  just like its name, haha!    finally finished writing my diary it's up-to-date now =)

  this is all i can do. believe in myself and appreciate what had happened  thanks to BFFs. im doing good now im living next to a snow capped volcano working on the volcano if it does erupt one day, im glad i have been enjoying my adventure here thanks to the new friends too without them (plus ah ming) i wont recover so quickly im still the cheerful girl everyone admires =) 

  no one help me take picture with the statue   having brunch at the park   saw a cute toilet on the way to i-site   reminds me of the playground in ashburton where thomas dropped me off after work this is not the right time to visit wellington. there are a lot of unique buildings, interesting museums and art galleries, nice cafes, and so on. but i am not mentally and emotionally prepared. the incident has had a huge impact on me. im confused. im lost. im just not me.  those who knew what happened, please continue to send me your blessings. i need loads of them to move on. those who didn't know what happened, please don't bother asking.  i will visit wellington again, hopefully with jen. 

last night was my last day at talley's. and im missing everyone even before i leave. i miss working in the factory. i miss my colleagues. i miss everyone in the backpackers. i miss gemma and lauren. i miss jen.    crew one.  irene - luyi - jodie - claudia - jen   carolina who cycles to work with her boyfriens sumi who's in crew one. she loves me, i know sharna the super friendly girl in talley's   me and my dorm mates the best combination ever now we know french, german, british and malaysian are good friends   thomas - max - lukas young boys. but they're helpful. i miss their lame jokes

  went to christchurh to attend a car fair helped joe sell his car. but the mission failed miserably   watched sunset at lake hood   joe   lukas   gifts for my fellow dorm mates

  sim from malaysia. it was her last day have a safe trip home. see you in malaysia   kenny from korea super nice guy. he brings a laptop bag to work =P   courtney from new zealand. she lost her previous job due to earth quake that's why she appreciates this job a lot. the most hardworking kiwi i have ever met got closer with colleagues. but time to leave soon. next tues will be my last day hopefully i'll get cool colleagues at the ski field

  thanks to the 晴天娃娃 it didn't rain throughout the weekend   hokitika town center love it! very tranquil little town with jade factories and art galleries everywhere   my and my play mate he 's 24 and i'm 26 but when we're together, we are both 12 =)   sunset point too cloudy for sunset but i had a great great time with thomas and jen just walking along the beach. doing nothing

bumping into mr wink eye during smoko is my favourite activity! and today he not only spoke to me, he came to the factory and 'gili-gili' me. i was totally surprised. according to my french friend, gili-gili is an international language. so if u wanna know what that means, get a french friend, haha!  ok back to the story. i have asked him to take a picture with me before i leave. i have asked him how old he is. he is the only management staff who knew im leaving. and he's happy for me that im going to work at ski field. he remembered how i did for my IQ test. wow, it really made my day. im a super duper happy girl today! yay! 

  i've heard so much about lake tekapo before visiting NZ. finally yesterday i visited the lake and the church of good shepard. the landscape is totally amazing. enjoyed the trip a lot as it's my second month in NZ celebration trip. plus we have very good travel mates.  we went to the hot pools as well. very well spent 20 dollars. with 3 hours of chatting and relaxing in the pools. that's the best outing so far. nothing is better than dipping in hot pools after washing down a freaking factory.  i'll be back for sure!

today marks the last day of night shift for me at talley's. i still haven't informed my team leader and supervisor that im leaving after queen's birthday.  a dramatic and eventful night for crew one. the machines went crazy. the belts stopped. line one got stuck (again). thanks for making my last night so memorable. i will definitely miss night shift, haha. 

this will be my last nite shift rotation as im leaving in 3 weeks' time. kinda excited yet feel a little sad. i know i'll miss the colleagues after i left. i have met people from uruguay, romania, brazil, argentina, scotland, sri lanka, czech republic, south africa etc at talley's. and they're really nice and funny. especially my team. i just started to know them better and i'll be leaving soon =(  on the other hand, a lot of people have left the holiday park. max from germany and paddy from ireland. both of them are my library / grocery shopping kaki aka drivers on sunday. their jokes are super lame yet very funny, haha. i missed saying bye to them coz i was working, arghhhh... amy from UK left too. love the way she indirectly shoots ET whenever he asks lame questions. and the french couple when missing when we were on night shift. hope to see them again as we believe they're still in ashburton.  some new friends moved into our Asian room. myra fr...

  BBQ area at tinwald domain am enjoying my stay here met lots of people with interesting stories to share   my french driver Thomas sent him to the hospital on monday nite, he injured his fingers at work my first time admitting someone to the hospital was so worried. i nearly cry when the doctor poke to needle into his nail according to him i had a fight with the doctor because of him, so he's very touched and we become very good frens now that's not a fight la, but the doctor is rude i just did what i should do for my friend   thomas and his fren peter i have a bunch of new frens from france after the fight with korean crazy man i should learn french, so i could communicate with them =)   gimma and lauren my first friends in ashburton they invited me to play soccer on my first day very adorable twin sisters  everyone says ashburton is a boring place. but i enjoy my stay here more than blenheim. i enjoy cooking ...

在NZ一切都很顺利，虽然有时候会遇到一些不那么如意的事，但我都可以应付。但最近 Holiday Park 来了个韩国神经病，他搞的大家都快发疯了。现在大家对厨房都敬而远之因为那是他出没的地方。 昨晚他一直批评我煮晚餐的速度慢得惊人，可是那关他屁事呢？就连法国人也听他说教听得厌烦了，就帮我出头叫他别再念了。但那顽固的神经病还不死心，叫法国人不要插嘴。法国人脾气好，不想吵架就说这只是误会，然后出去抽烟。神经病当然不放过他，也跟了出去。Jen 为了不要双方失和气竟然去跟神经病道歉。神经病得逞了还要喋喋不休，说是为我们好才开口教导我们。Jen 觉得受委屈就哭了。 我真的受不了啦！ 如果不是那群男生拉着我，我肯定去臭骂神经病一顿然后给他一个拳头。 他是我现在最最讨厌的人！但因为他，我和其他人的感情变好，大家都很团结，为对方说话或解围。希望神经病快快搬走啦。

am working on 12 hours shift now. 6am to 12 pm and vice versa. no time to get internet at the library. work is ok. working long hours shift is not as tough as i thought. i quite enjoy working at the potato inspection lines. i have time to think about a lot of things. make plans. and decide what to eat for smoko. haha.  am lucky to have met my drivers. thomas from france and joe from UK. thomas sends me to work while joe sends me to the town on weekends. they're very nice gentlemen. unlike some of the malaysian guys i have encountered here.  and im getting better in cooking. i can cook rice using a pot. bake fish. chicken. etc. not forgetting chocolate cakes and dessert. kepong gang, i'll cook u guys a feast when im back!  gotta go. another long day tomorrow. miss you guys! 

tomorrow is the first day of night shift at talley's. got some advice from my only friend who works night shift on how i should plan my sleeping hours. haha. thanks mun seng. you're always the best person to count on. unlike all the guys here who always make fun of me.  kinda excited and nervous. working long hours equals to earning extra cash for the travel plans. that's good! but how long can i stay awake at mid night? seriously need some training. we'll see tomorrow.    my new employer

  going to the farm as early as 6am this is taken at 8am. can see sun rise at 7am very pretty view. but you need to battle the cold weather   the digger im working on im based in the white cabin the driver will drive along the lines the machine at the end of the vehicle will transport potatoes along with  mud clot, stones, grass, etc to the conveyor belt in the cabin   the conveyor belt usually it'll be filled with mountains of potatoes my role is to pick the rotten and ugly looking potatoes,  and all other articles that are not recognised as potato   the typical potato harvester look  it's freaking cold, trust me i wore 3 layers underneath the jumper 2 pairs of leggings with long pants 2 layers of gloves and a beanie

after working at potato farm for 3 days. i seriously cant stand the cold weather. it's super freaking cold from morning till evening. and i dont understand why we need to start work at 6am. it's too dark to even view the potatoes clearly. the only happy factor working there is the super yummylicous looking german guy. and we stay at the same holiday park. so i can see him day and night, haha!  hitch hike twice today to go  for job interview at Talley's. (will blog about our hitch hike experience later). this is our second time going for interview there. guess they wanna test our determination in getting the job =P the interview was a proper one. asking me my 1 year plan and 5 years plan. took about an hour. i have no idea why hiring factory worker also need such a detailed interview. the job scope is just to inspect the quality of fries.  the good news is, we got the job offer. long term job for the next 2 months. the problem is how are we getting to work? takkan...

had an interview at Talley's this morning. a packhouse which is 11km away from the holiday park. hitch hike is the only way to get there. walked for 2 km. no car is willing to stop.  when we're about to give up, a truck stopped and offered us a ride to town. when he knew we're going for an interview at Talley's, he changed his mind. he decided to send us directly to the packhouse. such a kind man he is. he took our number as his son is also working there. so if we manage to get the job, he might be able to send us to work. thanks so much, kiwi uncle!  on our way back, we met a girl from czech republic, who's also going there for interview. she offered to send us back to town. she told us about the flat she's staying at currently. she suggested us to move there, so we could share transport to work. that's a brilliant idea, coz my rental is due tomorrow. i need to decide to stay or to move. and i need transport! working in packhouse has night shifts. ...
