road trip

a very very random road trip to random destinations around KL. here's our random itinerary!

9am: kalai's house. oh well the one way streets are very confusing. i cant believe i couldn't find kalai's house. finally after some detours, i sampai the meet up point. haha.

left for breakfast when shuwoan, archin n shon semua sampai. n of coz the tour guide, kalai.

9.40am: breakfast. fish head noodles n bak kut teh. not bad. exchange of info from KL, europe n sabah. itu kopitiam business very good. a lot of ppl waiting for our table. so we gotta leave n proceed to next destination for more gossiping. oops i mean chit chatting =P

cant remember what time already la. hunting for a place to drink tea n chit chat at bangsar. first stop at mcd for sundae. then bangsar village for toiler break n dessert from delicious. decided that bangsar is too high class for us. read in delicious newsletter about places for picnic in kl. so we went back to kalai's place to grab her guitar n some snacks. off to sentul park for picnic. that's totally random! haha

sentul park is quite a nice hang out spot. just couldn't bear with the hot weather. visited the koi centre aka japanese garden. then walk around the compound. too bad we aren't residents. so couldn't get into the park. we picnic just before the no entry sign of the park. it's cool, seriously! haha. we got guitar, teapot n tea, ice cream, hammock, tarp, raleigh bear n camera! the security guard tried to chase us away but he failed.

shon broke kalai's guitar string while tuning it. so next mission is to look for a guitar shop to fix the guitar. we went to hartamas. shop's closed due to hari raya. went lunch at a new taiwan restaurant. not bad la the food n drinks. shall bring sis next time, n try the frozen yogurt next door too. haha.

kalai insisted the guitar must be fixed today. so we continue our journey to hartamas shopping centre. found the shop. but no one there can replace the string n tune the guitar. told them about the new istana. now u know how the ppl up there spend our income tax...

since ar chin's parents were at mid valley. so we headed there. finally after all the hoo-ha, we finally get the guitar fixed n tuned. the staff at the guitar shop look very yeng n geng, with all the guitars. were planning about our sing k session on wed nite. as well as road trip on malaysia day. lets make it happen!

met munseng n his gf. on the way to the carpark. that's quite random too. haha. that's the end of our KL road trip. very random. but super awesome. thanks for the company, ppl!

balik rumah then mandi then tidur. that's how i spent the last day of raya break! =)
