3 years allowance

mummy: i give u 3 more years to enjoy life.. then only u decide what u wanna do...

me: wow! so i can go another expedition next year loh.. i'll be 24 already...

mummy: why not u apply for holiday working visa.. go new zealand... work in the farm..

me: good idea.. but i wanna go expedition first... go costa rica... then i can visit cousin bro in brazil..

mummy: up to u, since u're still young... only 3 years ah...

i guess mummy is tired of convincing me on how an adult should behave... haha... such as getting a job.. climbing the corporate ladder... bla bla bla...

when every1 thought i'm having great fun in a PR agency, i quit my job... everyone went WHY??? u siao ah?? what are u going to do after this??

i must admit that this is all RALEIGH influence...

i was quite surprise to hear from a raleigh family member who just came back from expedition saying that she somehow lose a bit of the oomph to pursue with her pharmacist dream... hmm...

this is something worth to think about... is it good or bad influence?

so now im getting a 3 years allowance to ENJOY LIFE... but i think my dad still finds it a bit hard to accept the fact that im not 'Ambitious' anymore... daddy, im still ambitious, in another sense...

i know what im doing now is totally against the norm... even my younger bro asked me: why aren't u working in a big company? u enjoy being a receptionist? then why u study so hard?

hmm... how should i explain this...
